Thanks to a historic gift from Richard and Linda Offerdahl, NDSU’s 工程学院 is not just building for today — it’s transforming for the future.
The new Richard Offerdahl '65 Engineering Complex will be built in the heart of campus and is designed with innovation at the forefront. It will propel the 工程学院 into the future and elevate the student experience by providing state-of-the-art spaces that emphasize teamwork, 沟通, and interdisciplinary learning.
“NDSU engineers are doing work that changes the world. 这个新, visionary facility will be a showcase for the University, highlighting the amazing work happening within the College and putting engineering on display,艾伦·卡尔迈耶说, interim dean of the 工程学院, 说.

The NDSU 工程学院 is proud to have received a Bronze Award from the American Society for Engineering Education Diversity Recognition Program. The honor means the NDSU 工程学院 is among the nation’s leaders in inclusive excellence.
Knowing that we are far better together, we’ve made diversity and inclusivity core values of the 工程学院. While this award is a recognition of some of our recent progress, 更重要的是, it’s a reminder of the work we still have to do.

Salute to Women in Engineering
As part of a special project for Women's History Month, we highlighted some of our distinguished female graduates.
By putting a spotlight on these female engineering role models we hope to encourage more young girls and women to pursue engineering degrees.
建立伙伴关系
The NDSU 工程学院 is empowering Native American students to pursue degrees in engineering.
We're featured in the new documentary 建立伙伴关系 in STEM Education. The film highlights NDSU and 16 other colleges and universities that participated in the National Science Foundation's Pre-Engineering Education Collaboratives.
的伙伴关系, led by the tribal institutions, provided each with the resources needed to expand their STEM curriculum and support students as they transitioned from a two-year program to four-year programs and beyond.
We're proud to be part of this important effort to dramatically increase the number of Native American engineers.
